Absolutely my favourite wedding in Paros, I have had the pleasure to photograph, as of yet !

There is something undeniably romantic about the Aegean, where the turquoise sea meets the cloudless sky, and so it is no wonder that Paros, with its spectacular landscapes and crystal clear waters, came as a natural choice for Marie and Nedim when picking their wedding location. All you have to do is spend one day walking around this Cycladic gem’s serene beaches, feeling the golden sand beneath your toes, and exploring its Venetian alleyways and castles and you will be spell-bound for life.

Yet it wasn’t only the island’s breathtaking scenery that offered the perfect backdrop for the couple’s union. Holding a wedding in Greece would also pay tribute to the bride’s cultural heritage, making it an ideal choice. Joining Marie and Nedim all the way from Australia were their guests, who gathered at the elegant Archipelagos Resort to watch the couple exchange vows under a gold metal arch right by the sea as the cloudless Cycladic sun was setting.The wedding ceremony was defined by the island’s alluring simplicity, allowing love and the exquisite background of the infinite blue of the sea to take center stage. Sprinkles of white and gold floral elements complemented the setting, adding a touch of luxury to the atmosphere. The day’s joy culminated at the beautiful reception, where the couple and their guests celebrated by a reed-surrounded pool overlooked by the island’s hills. Traditional white tavern tables, set with a thoughtful nod to Marie’s ancestry including wild flower and olive leaf bouquets and evil-eye charms, lit only by sparkling fairy lights and the star-filled sky made for a magical evening unforgettable for all attendees. Marie and Nedim’s wedding perfectly reflected the captivating charm of the Greek islands, where a dance in the sea breeze against a stunning of backdrop of picturesque hillside villages gives birth to the ultimate love stories.
