Marianne and Samuel | Pyrgos Petreza wedding

Marianne and Samuel's chose to celebrate their wedding in Athens, and it was a youthful fun wedding from start to finish. The wedding venue was Pyrgos Petreza which is generally considered to be amongst the best and most popular wedding locations in town.

The day began at the Hotel Apollon Divani in Vouliagmeni, where the bride and groom, along with their loved ones, prepared for the celebration ahead. When I first entered the large bride’s suite I was surprised to see the room was packed with girls, all getting ready so I was worried for a little bit as I almost felt there was no room for us, the photographer and videographer. However the laughter, excitement, and anticipation of everyone there made us all feel at ease in minutes!

Both ceremony and reception took place at Pyrgos Petreza, and what struck me the most during the ceremony was the deep Christian religious roots shared by Marianne, Samuel, and their guests. Every moment was imbued with reverence and emotion, reflecting the couple's faith and heritage.

As the sun began to set, and well after we have made some formal photos with the couple and their friends and family, the reception kicked off in full swing. The outdoor setting was full with tasteful touches of decorations, creating a beautiful ambiance for the celebration. Navigating the packed dance floor presented a challenge for us as photographers, but we were determined to capture every moment. From the traditional Ethiopian dances to the western popular music, the party was a testament to Marianne and Samuel's love and the shared bonds of their community.

Cheers to Marianne and Samuel, and to the life journey that lies ahead for them. As for my self, I m grateful for the opportunity to be their wedding photographer!
